[ARCHIVED] Parks Department Announces Closure of Hertz Trail effective immediately

A minor landslide occurred at Lake Whatcom Park over the past weekend and is affecting use of the Hertz Trail. The Hertz Trail is closed to all users near the 0.5 mile trail marker. Crews are assessing the damage and will begin cleaning up the debris in coming days. For your safety, do not attempt to cross the slide debris.
