Starting April 9, 2018 Whatcom County Parks & Recreation will begin reconstruction on the main entrance road and auxiliary parking lot. The construction will include road widening and asphalt surfacing. The construction project is anticipated to be completed by June 22, 2018.
What to expect:
- Temporary Road Closures
- Heavy Equipment Traffic
- Construction noise and vibration
- Flaggers will be on-site when necessary to ensure safety of workers and visitors
- Restricted boat launch use
- Limited Parking
- Intermittent shower facility closures
