The new Clear Ballot counting system and ES&S mail ballot verifier are up and running in Whatcom County!  With the implementation of the new Clear Ballot counting system, election observers will be witnessing ballot processing in a very different manner.  Additionally, the mail ballot verifier significantly modifies ballot check-in and signature verification procedures.  To understand what you’ll be seeing as we process August Primary Election ballots, both new and experienced observers are encouraged to attend this training session.
