[ARCHIVED] "County Elections Employee of the Year" Awarded to Diana Bradrick

At the recent state Elections Conference held in Spokane, Washington, Secretary of State Kim Wyman announced the recipient of the “County Elections Employee of the Year Award.”  Diana Bradrick, Whatcom County Chief Deputy Auditor, was the honoree.  Each year an individual is selected from one of the county offices who demonstrate exceptional service.  Secretary Wyman said this honoree is a consummate elections professional and deep critical thinker. Unafraid, she asks the difficult questions that need to be asked. Drawing from her experiences in Licensing and Recording, and an array of system upgrades throughout her career, she wants the elections modernization project to be as successful as possible. She has served to assist the executive steering committee in the project selecting the statewide voter registration database currently under development.  Secretary Wyman said she continually pushes all of us to see things from the user’s perspective. She assisted with the creation of over 700 requirements and provided excellent expertise during the RFP review and vendor selection process.

The Whatcom County Auditor’s Office is extremely proud to have one of its own selected for this prestigious award.  Auditor Debbie Adelstein said, “we’ve known what a gem we have.  Now the rest of the state knows it too!”
