Pavement Striping on Hannegan Road Rescheduled for Thursday, Aug. 27

Pavement striping operations originally scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 20 have been rescheduled due to forecasted rain. The work is now expected to take place from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Thursday, August 27, on Hannegan Road from the Bellingham city limits to Lynden city limits. 

• Drivers should expect long delays during this work.
• Please use alternate routes whenever possible.
• This work is weather dependent and is subject to change.

Safety is our highest priority. Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office deputies will assist with traffic control, and drivers should remember that traffic fines double in work zones.
