Bellingham Bay Added to List of Recreational Shellfish Harvest Closures

Unsafe levels of marine biotoxins were recently detected in Bellingham Bay. As a result, the Washington State Department of Health has closed all beaches from Bellingham Bay south to the Skagit County border to recreational harvest of molluscan shellfish. Other closures are also still in effect.
