Planning Commission Town Hall Meeting

The Whatcom County Planning Commission will host a town hall meeting on Whatcom County Comprehensive Plan and County Code amendments primarily relating to fossil fuel and renewable fuel refineries, storage, transshipment facilities, piers, and other related facilities in industrial zones, including but not limited to industrial zones within the Cherry Point Urban Growth Area.  The proposal also includes Whatcom County SEPA amendments, major project permit amendments, definitions, insurance provisions, and greenhouse gas emission analysis and mitigation requirements.
 
The town hall meeting will be held Thursday September 12, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Whatcom County Courthouse (311 Grand Ave., Bellingham, WA)
