Virtual Planning Commission Meeting

The Whatcom County Planning Commission will host a virtual work session on the Whatcom County Comprehensive Plan and County Code amendments primarily relating to fossil fuel and renewable fuel refineries, storage, transshipment facilities, piers, and other related facilities in industrial zones, including but not limited to industrial zones within the Cherry Point Urban Growth Area. The proposal also includes Whatcom County SEPA amendments, major project permit amendments, definitions, insurance provisions, and greenhouse gas emission analysis and mitigation requirements.
